PM/AM Host | Mr. Digby's

Schedule:

Wednesday/Thursday night and Saturday/Sunday morning (4 shifts total)

The Role:

The Host at Mr. Digby’s is the first impression of the restaurant. Working with a team, the host greets guests, manages reservations, seats guests, helps cleans tables, runs food and completes side-work.

Primary Responsibilities:

Greet guests at the front door, ensuring a hospitable experience for everyone

Manage reservations, using iPad-based OpenTable app

Seat guests efficiently, in order to maximize covers

Helps clean tables between guest seatings

Clean host station during and after shift, ensuring it is ready to go for next shift

Complete assigned side work

Coordinate and communicate effectively with FOH and BOH teams

Keep a clean and orderly workspace at all times

Follow all procedures as required by local, state, and federal health codes

Other duties as directed by the manager

Requirements:

Ability to interact with the public in a welcoming and hospitable manner

Experience with iPads and Opentable

Experience with Toast POS a plus
